Matt has more than a decade of advertising experience ensuring creative work is strategy-driven and insight-led as well as driving the digital transformation agenda for clients across varied sectors such as Telco, Finance, FMCG, Retail and more.
Prior to co-founding LamaDDB, Matt was Head of Strategic Planning at Wunderman Thompson where he contributed to major new business wins and helped secure Effie awards for leading clients like Vodafone, AB Supermarkets and many others.
Before joining Wunderman Thompson, Matt held senior positions at Venture consulting firms like Rawlings Partners and Myriad Interactive and was Director of Strategy at e-exchange, a successful tech start-up where he was a key contributor to the company’s rapid growth. He started his career at Kearney Management consultants.
Matt is also an entrepreneur, having successfully founded and exited two start-ups in the consumer and technology space. As a result, he now advises start-up companies on issues related to business planning, marketing, go to market strategy and digital transformation.
Matt has served as a judge for numerous advertising awards including Cannes Young Lions, ED Com Ad Venture as well as both the European and Greek Effie awards. He is an advisor and mentor for the People’s Trust Charitable Foundation as well as a frequent speaker at universities and technology forums.
Matthew holds a Joint Honors Bachelor of Economics and French from the University of Kent and a master’s degree in International Economics from the University of Grenoble.
Matt is passionate about water sports and building ever bigger Lego constructions with his two young sons.
